What's up with the Hives!?

Okay for nearly 2 weeks now I have been breaking out in itchy hives around my jaw line and parts of my face. Once they stop itching I am left with horrible dry patches that will NOT go away! I will call the Dr. to let them know but it's seriously annoying. These last 7 weeks cannot go by fast enough for me.  Anyone else having this problem??

    I have chronic hives - had them for almost 6 years.  The doctors can put you on a low dose of prednisone to get rid of them if you ask.

    Im 32 wks and have hives all over my hands and arms and also on my ankles lower legs now.  My OB sent me to a dermatologist yesterday and gave me Loratadine to take in the am and Benadryl at night along with a low dose steroid cream=clobetsol.  Im nervous to take all this being pregnant, since I havent had to take any meds so far or any at all with my first pregnancy.  But hopefully the meds will clear it up soon, it is super itchy and uncomfortable!!
    Has anyone taken any of the above meds while pregnant? Or heard anything bad about taking these meds while pregnant?
