It looks great! Absolutely gorgeous combination of colors with the wood! I'm wondering about the dual purpose though - if you have guests, would they sleep in there with the baby? Or would baby move to a bassinette or you to the guest room? Just wondering, it would be weird to me to have a guest room with my DD but I wouldn't want to displace a baby when guests are in town either. We will be losing our guest room with the addition of baby #2 so i've been brainstorming guest-sleeping options...
kjlrs, for the first several months we'll co-sleep or have the baby in a bassinett in our room. And, after that I imagine we'll sleep in the nursery if we have overnight guests so we don't have to displace her. I agree it would be totally weird for a guest to sleep in there with her.
sarahjared, can you believe that bedroom set was DH's before we were married? I give him all the credit. I'm not sure where he bought it - some furniture store in Ohio.
