Thoughts? (repost from Baby Names)

So I was on here a few weeks ago and it really helped my fiance and I narrow down our options. For a boy we are for sure thinking either Maxwell Alexander (which we're both slightly more inclined to go with at the moment) or Maxwell Archer. And although I've always been in love with the name Elana Marie, FI and I made a compromise on the name Lana, but have no middle name yet. Which do you like more for a boy? And what middle names would be good for a girl?

February 19, 2010- BFP! March 14, 2010- M/C January 17, 2011- BFP! April 26th, 2011- It's a boy! Due September 20, 2011 May 2, 2011- Confirmed Gastroschisis August 7, 2011- Labor begins August 12, 2011- Max is born October 4, 2011- Max comes home!

    I'm awful at coming up with middle names.  But I love the first Maxwell choice.

    I prefer Maxwell Alexander. It has a better flow to me. Lana is nice- Why not Lana Marie? Depending on your last name, other middle names could be Rose, Grace, Elizabeth, Paige, Allison or Elise.

    I like Maxwell Alexander more than Maxwell Archer.

     

    I think Marie works well with Lana as a middle name also. Lana Marie.

    I can't think of a mn for Lana :( don't use Marie, it's such a default name (unless it has some family meaning). Default meaning, you couldn't think of anything and that name goes with pretty much everything.

    We are actually going with Maksim Alexander if we have a boy. Love Alexander!

    Lana Marie is nice, but as pp's suggested, are there any family names that could be used? Lana Kate, Lana Elizabeth, Lana Mae (love this!)

    The only family name that I like AND flows well with Lana is Marie (my grandma). But FI HATES the name and my mom has thrown a lot of VERY childish fits about it. I suggested Lana Mae, but FI ex before me is named Raye, and he thinks it sounds too much alike. And he doesn't like any flowery or super girlie names like Rose.
