Is this normal or does it warrant a call to the obgyn? TMI re pp bleeding

I "stopped" bleeding shortly after my 6 week pp appt. Then started with heavier bleeding about a week later. It lasted a week and I thought it was AF because I also had some very very mild cramping. Then after about a week of no bleeding, it started again. It was lighter and lasted a few days. Then it stopped for a few days then came back, and has been cycling like this ever since. Is this still normal pp stuff or does it warrant a phone call? I go back in May for my annual. Everything was fine at my pp visit. I'm not having pain....it's just freaking annoying!

No...I don't take any BC pills, etc

I'm not sure then. I started the minipill right after my 6 wk visit and the bleeding was crazy. I think I would call if I were you, they should be able to tell you over the phone if it's normal or if they want to see you.

I would call. My PP periods started soon (9 weeks and 10 weeks) even though I was BF'ing and they were *heavy* but not quick cycling like yours are right now. I have a history of anemia so that would be a concern for me. I think it's worth a call. Good luck.
