I am not a fan of sneakers for girls, maybe it's becasue DD pretty much only wears dresses and has no need for sneakers, but DD has some Pediped (soft soled) sandels and I just ordered her several of the flexible soled sandles from See Kai Run. When she was just on the verge of walking she only wore the soft soled shoes from See Kai Run and Pediped- now that she is running the flex soles are better for her.
Our Journey from two to three!
3 IUI's, 2 IVF's, decided to move to foster/adopt.
12/24/2009 Baby C born, 2/1/2010 placed with us,
5/17/2011 Adoption final- we are finally a forever family!
We have Mary Jane style sneakers and I will also get her a pair of the Stride Rite closed toe sandals - https://www.amazon.com/Stride-Rite-Infant-Toddler-Sandal/dp/B000FIQF5Q. I like closed toe for this stage because she may still crawl some and she will more than likely stub her toes while walking, so the closed toe design will protect her feet better.
Last summer when DD was a new walker she wore sandals like these from Target. She did really well in them. I tried just regular open toed sandals and she tripped a lot in them for some reason.
Re: Girl Shoes for summer....
Just got 2 pairs of these yesterday, they are so adorable in person.
