I honestly have no idea. I know what mine is because I check the quarterly statements for my IRA and 401k, but I don't look at his. Mine has been a bit of a roller coaster with the market over the last few years and I try not to stress about it. So, I guess for this same reason, I don't bother looking at his.
I'd be interested in seeing these numbers broken down even more by age ranges. I think we have ages (for both moms and DH's) ranging from early 20's to mid 40's. I wouldn't expect someone in their early 20's to have anywhere close to what someone in their 40's does.

I agree; but I couldn't think of a great way to do that on the board. Perhaps, Jersey can work that into her master survey, somehow.
DH cashed out his 401K to finance his business. the money is now sitting in our rental properties. it is good and bad. i know he still has other investments but I don't keep track of those. I have my 401K and it isn't anything great.
