Hey everyone,
just found out i was pregnant last week and my
on-and-off boyfriend of 6 years (and ex-fiancee) did not take the news
well....at all. He's only trying to pressure me to get an abortion.
There is a soap-opera worthy backstory as to why he's not taking the
news well, and it's mostly because of his culture (indian). We loved
each other and he's a good man, i never expected him to react like this,
be so intentionally hurtful, or for him to abandon me and his child
like he's saying he will do. I ran through a gamut of emotions and although initially very saddened by this turn of events, i'm now excited about this baby.
On the plus side I just turned 30 today (happy birthday to me!)
have a good job, and supportive friends and family that are more than
willing to help me. I'm extremely thankful for them! It is because of them and their support that i can afford be excited about this pregnancy and this little miracle entering my life.

"There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
