I love my birth-month board but it would be nice to communicate with some local ladies! If you're lurking, please introduce yourself! This board is dead!

Hi guys... I check this out every once in a while and yes, it's always dead! I'm from Weber County, 29 with a 5 month old. How about the snow last night, eh? How much did you guys get?
Erin - Haha... I love the "E" squared - my husband and I had the same last name before we were married (LOL... no, we're not related), so people always called us by our last name and add "squared". Where are you from and how old is your LO?
Im Veronica, 25, live in Ogden. This is our first baby and he is due March 6th. I feel like a whale and can't wait for the 28th of this month because its my last day of work. Im looking forward to being a SAHM

Hi Veronica! That's awesome you get to be a SAHM. I wish I could, and my husband wishes he could be a stay at home dad too, lol. Have you picked out a name for your baby? I live in South Ogden.
We are going to name him Adrian for sure and I think we are going to have Max be his middle name.
I'm pretty pumped to stay at home. Now I just need to finish all my painting for the nursery but Im just about done with it. Its taking a lot longer than I thought!

Wow, your nursery looks awesome! We did a construction/dump truck theme for ours. We had a lady make vinyl cutouts of different construction machinery and we bought some bedding with a construction theme. I love the Dr. Seuss theme!
How I got out of a truck/motorcycle theme is beyond me. I think its because I talked DH into it while he was still in shock about the baby We were going to do vinyl characters initally but I decided it would be fun to paint instead. I bought an overhead projector off KSL and then we just traced the images on the walls. We have The Cat, Horton, The Things and One Fish Two Fish. Its turning out pretty cute and I am hoping it will last him until he is 6-7 haha. Then it will probably end up changing to some super hero or something I cant draw.

Wow - you have a lot more patience then I do, lol. But that is such a cute idea. My sister painted my niece's room the top half in some type of pink, then on the bottom half, painted it chalk board so they can write on it... it's a good and bad thing, lol. I think it keeps the walls from getting written on, but you'd have to teach them to only write on THOSE walls, lol.
My name is Amanda. I am a stay at home mom of a 13 month old and I am also 13 weeks pregnant. We live in Lehi right now but should be moving to Riverton soon.
Hey guys I think things could pick up here, lets do a little GTKY.
I'm in St.G. 19. have a cute little *almost* 3mo.
I love to cook. We are very active, hiking, biking, just about anything outdoors. I'm running a half marathon in september, and I am super nervous. So far my training consists of walking to the grocery store with LO in a stroller.
Great idea! Do you think we should start a new thread? That way it's easier for people to notice it?
I'm Megan, in Ogden, 29 with a 7 month old. We love to go outdoors - mostly ice fishing in the winter, and hiking and camping in the summer. No marathons here, lol. Our exercise consists of taking LO for walks every once in a while, and whatever exercise we get at work. I didn't want to risk losing my milk supply to exercising (I read something about that somewhere), so I've just been keeping it low key. DH and I have been married for 4 years this April. DS is our first.
Hi, I live in West Valley City and I have a 4 and 1/2 month old. I used to check here kind of often but after I asked a question here (only applied locally) and it took about a week to get an answer, I just kind of found myself getting distracted in other places. If this place were hoping more, I would have probably checked more.
I totally agree... it's a slow board, and I get distracted too. I try to check every once in a while, but like a lot of other people, we stick to our birth month boards (6-9 mo for me). It would be nice to see some more action here, but I just don't know if it'd happen.

Haha, I had the same problem...
Go to My Profile, then go to Edit My Avatar and you can take it off there.
congrats on the 7 week old.
I used to live in Roy... I go there now to take DS to daycare.
