common sense people argh

So am I the only one who goes out with her DD in a pink stroller wearing a pink outfit with a bow on her head, a passer by comes up and says oh cute baby is it a boy or girl? Really now. Or do I just live around people who don't have any common sense?

    Lol...my babies happen to have a lot of hair, so with DS I got that all the time. Not so much with DD. I never understood it though. He was always dressed super masculine. DD doesn't leave the house without a headband and bow, and like you said pink everything, and I'm yet to get the gender question.

    that happened to me when I was a baby and my mom got my ears pierced after that.

    A lot of people see all babies as boys. Even if they have hair it's short.  My DD was wearing pink the other day and someone said boy. We get that a lot, but she's often wearing gender neutral because we got a lot of hand me downs from my nephew and we were team green.

    Your dds headband is so cute and girlie. Love it. But I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

    My 2yr old DD was walking alongside her brother at the hospital and an old man told them they were very handsome boys.

    She has long, curly hair and was wearing a dress with a purple coat. People just don't get it.

    I had the same thing happen and DD has a baby pink carseat cover that goes over her pink carseat and she had a headband on. The person that was with the guy that asked looked at him like he was stupid and said "can't you see all the pink?" .
