Opening Day - anyone going?

We bought our tickets over the weekend.  We usually head out to the bar around 7-8am.  I am excited because I wasn't able to make it last year.  Here's hoping the weather is warmer than what they are predicting!

    I wish! DH is going, but DS and I will be out of town. Last year was one of the best, even though I was pregnant and couldn't fully participate in the activities ;) The weather was perfect! Hopefully this year will be the same weather-wise. Have fun!!

    I'll probably take the girls downtown for the parade, but will not be going to the game. Tickets are just too expensive. Have fun!

    I'm tempted to take DD to the parade but we're having houseguests that weekend so I probably need to stay home and clean.  We aren't going to the opening game, but we have tickets for another game that weekend.

    We'll be at the parade and then probably hang on fountain square and watch the game on the big screen.  It was always tradition in my family to go to the parade and my mom used to let us miss school and everything for it.  Ry has never missed a parade yet (thankfully OD has fallen during her Spring Break the past 2 years) and I will continue the tradition with her.

    We are! I'm so excited, because I'll feel a bit more like a real Cincinnatian now. I love baseball and since moving here I've really wanted to go. I'm feeling a teeny bit guilty about dropping DD off at day care and spending the day having fun. I am going to have to pump in the car in between the parade and the game probably...that'll be interesting.

    we are!  this will be Liam's second opening day and I hope to always be able to take him!  We plan on going to the parade if it's not too cold and then head over to the game!  Baseball season is bittersweet for me though because I love baseball and warm weather but my DH works there so it also means seeing a lot less of him...
