I wanted to share with you ladies, that my u/s went good today. I'm a little behind based on LMP, but I'm not worried. It was a "bedside" u/s that my OB did, HB looked strong. Going back in the morning for a real u/s with the tech for a better pic and more accurate dating. Then another follow up u/s 1 week later to monitor the growth.
First words out of OB's mouth "Well that didn't take you long" (in reference to getting KU on the first safe cycle post m/c)
It is such a relief to know there's a lil turkey with a heartbeat right NOW! :-D
Please keep me posted on your u/s and progress! Yay for sticky babies! (This is the stickiest I've had yet, so its sticky to me!)

What is a bedside u/s? I had transvaginal last time. I'm sure I will again this time around on Monday.
I'm glad your u/s went well though. We also go pregnant right when my doctor told me it was safe after m/c. She said to wait two cycles and hear we are exactly right on time. Good luck with your follow up!

That's so great! I also don't know what the difference is between a bedside ultrasound and a "regular" ultrasound. I guess the bedside one is quicker appointment with an older machine?
I am so glad that you saw your little turkey's heart beat. I can only imagine what that must feel like. You must be on cloud nine! I am just on PINS and NEEDLES waiting for Monday to roll around. If I can just see a baby measuring mostly on time with a heartbeat, I will have a surge of excitement come over me.
Please do update us on your ultrasound today, and PIP if you can.

What they were calling the "bedside" u/s was a smaller rolly machine that they bring into a regular exam room. Its not as accurate as the real u/s equipment (which has its own room with large monitors and the lights turned down.
We saw the HB this morning in better detail, 122BPM! I am 4 days behind what was calculated based on my LMP. They are changing my due date to 11/15.
I scheduled my next u/s later, so next one is when I should be 8w1d.
The pic was SO blurry, it just didn't look like anything. Next one, I will post when you can see something! I am traveling for the next few days so DH took the pic to show his parents when he tells them this weekend. Since we're not really married, he wanted to tell them alone. I don't mind; they are more conservative than my family so they may have concerns about that.
SIDE NOTE: I thought it was really cool that they could tell that I ovulated from my right ovary. Not sure why I found it so fascinating, but I did.
