Adorable new habit while bfing.....

DS has recently started "psyching" me out when he is getting full while bfing.  He will be eating real well and then suddenly pop off and look at me, wait a second and then give me the biggest gummy grin ever, then go back for the boob only to pop back off immediately and grin again.  He will keep doing it if I let him.  IT IS HILARIOUS!!!

    OMG that sounds so adorable, too bad it involves your boob if not I would say video tape it and post it on youtube, LOL

    my baby has a funny habit while breastfeeding too, since i had such a hard time with the latch for a while, my consultant would tell me to open my mouth wide and say aaaaahhhh, because they learn to immitate, so now she opens her mouth and goes "aaaaaaahhhh", I couldn't believe it, she's only 7 weeks

    I love all of the sweet and silly things DS does while nursing, it's my favorite thing about BFing.  DS does something similar when he's full where he pops off, smiles, then does something I can only describe as pretend BFing where he gently latches and makes sucking noises, all the while he's smiling like "Look ma, it looks and sounds like I'm nursing but really I'm just pulling your leg"

    Catherheather - That is so cute that your LO says aaahhh!  That's actually a really good tip that the LC gave you, I haven't heard that before.

    these are all the reasons BF is so special, I'm so glad I stuck to it, I almost quit. Now, I'm dreaing going back to work and not being able to do it all day.
