Success after IF

Mrs.Reem

I did the hashbrown casserole with the ham. Not much different just less soup and sour cream than the other one you just posted.

I honestly think it only needs 4-5 hours on low. Because the potatoes are soo thin they cook fast. But I also think my crock pot sucks (a new one is on my Christmas list)

hey I have a question for you... I was at Kroger and thought- oh I'll make Mrs.Reem's pumpkin and Nilla Cakester's recipe for tomorrow night... well crap I couldn't remember it so this is what I bought... What do you think?

cool whip

pumpkin pie filling

Cakesters

Think that would kinda be good?? I don't feel like going back out for pudding... I can't believe I didn't remember pudding!!!!!!!!

Re: Mrs.Reem

  • Okay awesome. I'll adjust the recipe so that it cooks less in the crockpot.

I have one crockpot that cooks on the warm side on high and another that cooks like it normally should. Go figure!

I think you'll be fine since its pie filling. That has the added sugar so it won't be bitter, Heck it may be BETTER than what I came up with. The only reason I used the pudding was to make it smoother but if you whip the pie filling a little I'm sure it will be just fine.

I hope you like it. Those darn cakesters go straight to my behind. lol

  • It was the grocery trip from helll my coupon book turned upside down and ALL of my coupons fell out... I forgot my wallet and I couldn't for the life of me remember your recipe. Needless to say I did not want to go back. I'll make it tonight and taste it to see if it's ok- if not I'll just throw it out. (or knowing me it's dessert I'll eat it no matter how bad it is!)

    Thanks!!!

  • Oh no!! That sounds absolutely awful. Grocery shopping sucks anyway IMO. We were just talking on our local board about how it induces anxiety in many of us.  lol Especially with children. ('cause mine's attached to my hip ya know.)

I bet it will turn out just fine. None of the flavors would be gross on their own so they'll be great together.  :)

Maybe I'll make some more too. DH is gone tonight and Katen and I are feeding trick or treaters.
