Ex's court date

So my Ex who now lives in FL *finally* has his court date for child support. (Almost a YEAR later..) I have submitted all my paper work to the state and the court date is Monday. 

What can I expect out of this hearing? I really thought I would need to be there. What if I don't agree with what his payment should be? I have waited so long for this and I am afraid its going to take another year to get this resolved.

    Did they call it a Negotiation Conference? Because thats what they did with me, and I didn't have to be there. After the conference the case worker from the other state called me, and wanted to talk to me about what went one. I asked her to call me though, because it would have taken MY case worker forever to get in touch with her and then me. Stay on it, and nothing is written in stone after the conference so you will be contacted for things. Not sure if that answered your question but I recently had to go through an out of state CS meeting. And for the record I started filing back in July of last year and nothing is set yet.

    no, my case worker just said she call me when she heard something. this is so annoying!
