when did you start trying for #3

we tried for #2 when ds was 15 months old....lucky on the first try...they are exactly 2 years apart.

ds#2 is one on friday and I am feeling the itch to be a mommy again.

we want our kids close together, but i'm curious when y'all deciding to start trying for #3. how did you know or when did you feel you were ready? how far apart are all of your kids, now.

We are TTC right now...DS and DD are 21 months apart...If we got lucky this cycle, DD and LO#3 would be 25 months apart.

We havent decided for sure whether there will be a number 3, but if there is it will be when DS is 3.5/DD is 2.5 which would mean we'd start TTC next fall. I like the idea that my older 2 will be a little more indepedent, but they would all be close enough in age that the oldest/youngest could play and interact together.

We are hoping to TTC next Dec/Jan. I would love a Fall/winter baby so DS can start PreK that Aug and be used to it before baby comes. I would love DD to be 2.5 and more independant. It depends on a lot, DH is looking into jobs to bring him closer to home (works offshore 21 days on /21 days off). I would love him to be home every day instead of away for 3 wks but he may make a lot less onshore and thats scary to us. I would love a bigger home, but who knows if that will happen.

It really depends, we know we arent done, but if everything works I will wait until after Christmas.

All of our kids are about 18 months apart (give or take a month or two) and right around 9 months is when I start to miss the "baby" stage, they are sitting, crawling, SSTN etc. and we consider if another one is in our future. So far the answer has been yes, but I know we will get to that point when we say no, I'm not looking forward to that day!

If it were up to me, I'd want ttc #3 before DS first Birthday. DH has different ideas.

We started TTC #3 as soon as AF returned at 9 months PP. It took a few months longer the third time around than it did the second. #1 and #2 are 18 months apart. #2 and #3 will be around 20 months apart.

We started tryin gwhen our 2nd was 9 months old. Got lucky first try! So ours are 18 months and then 18 months again.

We weren't 'trying' but weren't preventing. DD#1 took us a long time to conceive and I ended up only having 1 period between her and DD#2. This time along I only had 2 periods and here we re again. When #3 comes, DD1 will be 3 years 7 months and DD2 will be 22 1/2 months. DH is 37 and want knew that we wanted 3 kids and that we would rather them be before he turned 40! I love the age that my girls are now. DD#1 will be 3 next month and DD#2 is 15 months. They play together so good. I'm glad that there will be similar spacing!

We are waiting until DS2's second birthday to TTC. I like the age difference between DS1 and DS2 but I do not like having two in diapers.
