Me:

Remember my cyst that HURRRT and I had to got to ER and then it burst while I was in there? Well it came back a couple weeks ago, so I booked a gyno appt? it burst that same day, thankfully I kept the appt because it's come back a THIRD time!

So, gyno appt tomorrow, but guess what, THE EFFING THING!!!! It just burst on my walk home? I'm sooooo NOT impressed right now. Going to the gyno anyhow, even if it's just to b???h about my bleeding vagina.

*insert scary dinosaur noise here*

It's a bartholin cyst, all I can do is surgery, which he is hoping to not have to do while I'm preggo (which is what I wanted). But it's starting to get ridiculous now

Seriously. I'm just thinking long term with infection possibilities and scar tissue.

I get why they don't want to hack into your vagina right now but if they can do it with a local anesthetic, why the eff not...

Well part of the issue now if we do decide to do it while I am, is it will seriously grow back out of the blue (in a day or 2) and then burst another day or 2 after that. I'm now ok with going ahead and doing it, it's just figuring out the timing. I bath with epsom salts a few times after a burst so it draws out puss and reduces the chance of infection.

Oh man i have had 3 of those! They suck! I have never had them burst but had to go to the ER and have them drained. One got to be the size of a golf ball! They had to put a tube in to keep it draining for about a week and I ahve never had one since. So I had 3 in 6 months and then none since. Hopefully they can keep it from coming back until you arent preg anymore.

Hopefully! Mine gets to be just a bit bigger than a brazil nut and is close to the opening. The second time I had a soft cyst on top of the hard one :S

Aw man...I have two in the past that burst. EXCRUTIATING PAIN!! I had a nurse tell me once that the pain intensity is close to labor...so maybe delivery will be a walk in the park?! Hope you feel better...this is coming from a gal who has experienced in the past. (hugs)
