I hate this time of the year (NBR vent)

I'm not one of those people who b!tches every time it snows (I live in a snow belt, snow happens and it happens often) and I actually love winter. But I hate this time of the year. We just got teased with a week of mild, spring-like weather and now we have snow again. It happens every year and we should all be used to it, but it's so sad to see all of the snow melt and see flowers coming up in some places and then boom! A foot of snow falls.

I think we're all just antsy because it has been a hard winter. Plus, I loved being able to go for a walk with DD and the big dog. Now we're back to the hermit life. 

Sigh.

    I hear you. We had 70* weather Thurs and Fri and then monday it snowed and we are getting more snow tonight. I want to get out in the yard with DS. He got a bunch of outdoor stuff for the holidays and I want it out of the house. Plus we still need to lay out grass seed and fertilizer and we are alos looking at swing sets. I want to get one before it gets too nice out and they jack up the prices.

    Staring out my window at 4" of snow (& 4" more to come) that's on top of sleet and trying to decide whether I can get DS1 to an outing with preschool friends to the fire station...

    Yeah, I agree.  March sucks.

    We're in the opposite boat here.  It's 85 today and was 87 yesterday.  Yellow pollen is covering every single surface.  It's allergy season.  The warm weather might sound appealing, but when it gets 100+ with crazy humidity from June to September... it's not fun.  You end up being a hermit b/c it's too dang hot to do anything outside.

    We're stuck with cold rain again today...then snow I'm told this weekend.  I would really like to just open up the doors and do some spring freshening!!!!

    I think those of us in the south should pack up and swap houses with the ladies in the north for a few weeks. I would love another few weeks of cool/cold weather. Any takers?

    I'd never swap with anyone down south! Too hot and sticky for me. I don't like summer at all, actually. I prefer autumn and winter because I'm sensitive to sunlight (migraine trigger). But I'm dying to get some fresh air in the house and the dog needs more regular walks! He hates winter so he just languishes inside.

    Plus I want to sun my CDs!
