Vent/whine: I failed my 1 hr glucose test :(

My level was 135 which she said was 3 points over what they want to see 
I know lots of people fail the 1 hr and pass the 3 hr with no problem, but having to sit there for 3 hours makes me want to cry! Plus it's bad timing because I had to leave work early yesterday for family emergency, then tomorrow I have to leave work early for an appointment at home, and now I'll have to come in late on Monday because of this damn test. I'm supposed to be putting in extra hours, not leaving early/coming in late

I've heard many people who fail with just a few points over.
Hoping you pass the 3hr and that it isn't too horrible!

I hope you pass the 3 hour test with flying colors. Try not to worry too much.
I suppose I could, I just wouldn't want to risk failing again and then having to take the 3 hr anyway. I'll just get it over with on Monday!

They probably will not let you do that. I know it sucks especially failing by 3 points. I did as well and needed to do the 3 hour. I enjoyed the 3 hour test with C but only because it gave me some time to myself
I guess I will have to stop by somewhere and pick up a book. I haven't read a new book in awhile, but I can't think of anything else to do!
The test itself doesn't bother me - I thought the drink was fine - I'm just mad that I have to miss work for it.

Get a chick lit...it will suck you in and you will forget all about it!
... every single day of forever.
With the type of job you do, can you work from the phone and laptop? If so you could keep working while waiting and not loose the hours?
Aww that stinks! If it makes you feel better, I failed the 1 hour test, took the 3-hour test and threw up the Glucola 2 hours into the test and had to retake it a THIRD time, but thankfully I passed.
Best of luck, I'm sure you will do great the second time!
That stinks!! I had the testing done early on in the pregnancy and passed the 1 hour test....then I complained about certain symptoms around 8 months...took the 1 hour test again and failed...but passed the 3 hour test. Shewww...I won't lie, the 3 hour test was annoying - but luckily they let me sit in my car and I had things to keep me busy...I think I was writing out my Xmas cards and envelope stuffing!
Oh boo, that really sucks that you had to repeat the 3hr
