Ok, I know we've been around and around about strollers on here, but I'm trying to make my final decisions on what to register for (just found out my first shower is in April!), and I'm STILL feeling overwhelmed! I really, really like the idea of a jogging stroller-- I plan to jog with the baby as often as I can. My question is this: if you're getting (or already have) a jogging stroller as your main stroller, what will you use for the first few months when you can't use your jogging stroller? I know they have jogging stroller/infant seat combos, but I don't know much about those. We're definitely getting an infant seat, if that means anything..... TIA!!!

I bought the BOB Revolution with the infant car seat adapter, so we'll use it with the car seat for the first months.
I may change my mind down the road, but right now I don't want to have a billion different strollers. I'm going to use the BOB as my primary stroller along with a lightweight umbrella stroller for later on.
We are getting a car seat/stroller combo and a jogging stroller. From what I understand (moms, correct me if I'm wrong), you aren't supposed to use a jogging stroller until the baby is 6-8 months old.
ETA: I mean, you aren't supposed to jog with the baby for the first 6-8 months. You can use it for walking as much as you want, I think

You can still use a jogging stroller with the car seat (for walks, errands, etc.), you're just not supposed to actually run with the baby until at least six months because of neck support issues.

That's what I thought, too, and that's why I wasn't sure what to do for those months before that time.... can I use it for walking before that 6-8 month time period? I think I'm leaning toward the car seat/stroller combo along with the jogging stroller as well....
Haha yeah, I need to think before I post. I'm blaming it on baby brain, but I don't know how much more of that excuse I can use!
We had the Baby Jogger City Elite and used it with the car seat adapter for DD. (We used it with the Graco Snugride 32.) It worked fine and we used it for long walks every day, plus shopping and everything. It has been our only stroller and we've LOVED it.
We actually bought the same baby jogger city elite but in the double version for baby #2. We'll also use it with a car seat adapter.
And you are right.. you aren't supposed to run with the baby until around 6 months.
