Good Afternoon Ladies
I have had quite a few emails lately stating "I got this email from a friend and I need" They are not members of the bump and honestly I do not feel comfortable making these matches. I understand completely that you want to help a friend out, and would love to help everyone but please also understand that I have to coordinate this program with the respect of those donating the meds. We have so many lovely ladies who support us on this board contact me needing meds (unfortunately much more contact me needing than those donating) and I am not saying anyone deserves the meds more than anyone else but the criteria of being a nestie (to provide support not just to ask for meds) keeps the integrity of the program alive. Unfortunately, I have learned that some people purchase meds from other organizations/websites that allow selling of unused meds and re-sell them at a higher price. (can you imagine donating your meds and finding them on a blackmarket website?) Please understand if you contact me (or have a friend contact me) who is not a nestie (or doesn't even know what being a nestie is) than I will refer you/them to the blog where they can obtain information about fertility med patient assistance programs and pharmarcy lists. It is so very hard for me to turn anyone away, but I cannot run this program if everyone doesn't feel comfortable about where the meds are going or coming from.
Thank you for your cooperation ![]()

Re: ** Giving OOP Meds Email to Friends **
It's designed for Nesties and that's the way it should be, at least in my opinion. It's tough, the meds are so expensive and so we all want to help anyone we can, but this is a program that was created by, run by, donated by and therefore for, nesties.
You're doing a great job, Em! Thanks for all you do!!

So now I am wondering how many "new" posters we will see on this board requesting OOP Meds info. I have already seen one...
Moving forward with Adoption 2017!
Wow, really? People actually do that?
My goodness...what is wrong with people?
I'm sorry you are dealing with this. You've done such a wonderful job with this program and I hate that you are being put in this position.
Seriously people. This is a community ...not a free for all. Have some respect.
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
I don't mind people becoming new members of the if board because they somehow found the blog or something... but to post only about meds irk me...
I agree. It is one thing to come here from the blog and find out that you enjoy it and another to come for selfish reasons only - the meds.
Moving forward with Adoption 2017!
History of IF and 2.5 years TTC. The day we were to start our first IUI we received a call that changed our lives forever and 10 month old Olivia joined our family. Shortly thereafter we got a surprise BFP and baby 2 is due July 5, 2012
Wow....I can not believe people are doing that.
Thank you for all that you do with the program!
Oh, the irony....
