Raleigh Pediatrician

I am getting to the point where I need to start looking into pediatricians.  Please recommend yours.  Thank you so much! Smile

    I've been very happy with Jeffers Mann and Artman.  We go to their Wake Fores office and never have a wait longer than 5 min.  I also went to Raleigh Peds to start with (but we switched insurances and they don't take United); I liked that office also but the wait was much longer.

    Thanks!  I saw Jeffers Mann and Artman when I googled.  It is good to know they have a Wake Forest office since we currently live on the border of WF and are planning on building a house in Heritage.  I have United also so Raleigh Peds won't work for me.

    I go to Jeffers, Mann & Artman in Raleigh (Blue Ridge) and absolutely do not recommend them, due to excessive wait times. I'm switching as soon as this round of EI's is over, probably to White Oak Peds. I have heard their WF office is a lot better, but I would never recommend their Raleigh office.

    I take Wesley to Raleigh Children and Adolescents. It's where I went growing up. Some of the same docs are still there, plus some new ones. I love it there.

    We also go to Jeffers, Mann,and Artman in Raleigh and while I love the doctor(s) (we stick to 2 we really like)  that we see there, the wait times are getting ridiculous. I have many friends who go to the WF location and have NO issues, so I think it's because the Raleigh location is just so popular.  The practice is very open to delayed shot scheduling and we have been taken good care of there so while the wait drives me completely insane, we will not switch.

    We got to Jeffers Mann in Wake Forest and I have been VERY happy. We have gone for 2 years since DD was born and are planning to return with baby #2. I have also never had to wait more than 5 minutes, nor do I ever have an issue getting an apt. If you are moving to Heritage that would be an excellent location for you since they are about 5 min from there. I like the nurse line, that they have a LC on staff (in the Raleigh office) and that they have available apts and I never have to wait for a sick visit. I haven't been to the Raleigh office since DD was born so I can't see a reason why you would have to go there other than for a Saturday apt or to see the LC.

    We got to Wake Forest Peds. They have two offices, one in Wake Forest (behind Chris Leith Chevy/Dodge/Kia) right off number 1, and one in Knightdale.

     I specifically see Naomi Weinstein or Melody Rodgeman,PA.

    REALLY like them alot!

    We go to North Raleigh Peds and love them. They are medium sized practice (5 drs) with an LC on staff. Never have to wait more than 10 min.

    I go to Raleigh Children (Brier Creek location) and love them.  I don't recommend their Blue Ridge office though.

    We go to White Oaks Peds (medium sized practice) and have been super happy there. I've never waited more then like 5 minutes in the waiting room or in the exam room. We usually see Dr. Kelly but have seen Dr. Anderson for a few sick visits and she was great too. Id pick a couple practices that interest you and check out their new parent info sessions. the biggest thing is u need to decide if u want a small, medium or large practice and that will help u narrow down your choices.

    We go to North Raleigh Peds only because our Doctor closed his private practice & joined their group.  We've been there for a year & to be honest-I'm not happy.  I talked to the office manager yesterday about excessive wait times that I have experienced (most recently Tuesday) and she really could have cared less.  I love our Ped & that is the only reason why I haven't found another one yet.
