Question for those with a 3yr old

I have a question and maybe this is a dumb question. Katie is almost 3. Lately she has started with "come play with me" all the time. She usually plays well by herself and she goes to preschool 2 days a week. We do playdates with other kids. She asks "why did you not play with me at the playdate?" I explained it was a chance for her to play with some kids her age and such. Is this what happens next, now its a constant play with me all the time. I am losing it and getting not a thing done. Just wondering your experience.

My daughter is 5 now and she still says come play with me every ten minutes... I feel like my house is a disaster because she requires so much attention, lol. but I would definitely say this is normal.

Eve is a "come play with me" kid too. I try to join her when I can, but I also try to suggest activities that she can do herself when I can't. It doesn't always work, but I think it's important for her to still be able to entertain herself.
