spotting while breastfeeding

I haven't had a period yet and I am breastfeeding of course.  But I have been spotting lightly for about 1.5 weeks.  It's barely anything.  I'm not complaining...I'm dreading having a full blown period again.  But, just wondering if anyone else is/has experienced this?

    I had a few days of spotting around the 2mos mark.  I thought for sure I was starting AF since DD had been STTN since 1mos but it never got heavier.  I still spot for a day or two every once in awhile but still no period.  I have no advice on what it is or could be.  I figure it might be my body's way of trying to gear up for a cycle again but AF has yet to show.

    Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!

    I had this but it would only last 1-3 days. I think it is your body getting ready for a period. I supplemented so I figure that's why I started at 3 months. I think if you nursed/pumped more often or a bit longer maybe that would help? My first AF was not that bad but very heavy..
