DH & I are at the point where we need to find a pediatrician for our little one that will be joining our family in June.  We live in the Heights and would love to find a doctor that is close, but that isn't a requirement.  Would you ladies mind sharing who your pediatrician is and what you enjoy about them/their practice.  Thank you much.

    Dr. Janet Pate at TCPA Westchase. When we lived in Houston, we drove from our house in Bellaire to see her. She's worth it. Love her so much!

    Dr. Michele Shuman. Her office is on I-10 & Campbell, a really quick drive from the Heights. 

    She is amazing. Very sweet with kids. It's a small practice (2 doctors), lots of attention to each patient, attentive staff. We went to a larger practice before and it didn't work for us.

    Ditto. We also live in the Heights and Dr Shuman's office is 10 minutes right down I10. Switching from a big practice to her office was one of the best decisions I've made for my kids. Our whole family is much happier there.

    I also know a lot of moms in the Heights use Blue Fish pediatrics (as well as several Nesties) so that might be some thing else to look at. Honestly, anything out I10 is much faster than the Fannin group.

    I'm also in the Heights and we decided on Dr. Lee at Great Kids Pediatrics at Memorial Hermann Memorial City. I also met with Blue Fish, but only one of the doctors was taking new patients and I didn't *love* him.

    We love Bluefish, but I hear that they aren't taking new patients.  Would be worth a call.  We see Dr. Jung and really like him.
