Cloth Diapering

anything I can do about delaminating?

I took a chance on some seconds knowing the PUL might delaminate, but for $4 I was willing to give it a go. Well, it's happening to one of them. Is there anything I can do to save this dipe?

  • I'm pretty sure you can try throwing it in the dryer on high heat to try to re-seal it. It's worth a shot.

  • Do NOT put it in the dryer on high heat if it is delaminating. The delaminated part will stick to itself and make a big hole if you try to pull it apart. Then the diaper will really be ruined.

Stick to line drying exclusively, and be very careful not to tear the laminate when stuffing the pocket.

  • No, do NOT put anything that might de-lam into the dryer, only hang dry that diaper.

Where did you get them from?

You can try to get some waterproofing spray and turn it inside out and spray the PUL part to try to rewaterproof it once it's all the way delamed.

It's called Kiwi and it's super cheap, I found mine in walmart in the shoe section.

  • What brand of diaper?
