how long does it take to get NT scan results?

we are doing the NT scan and bloodwork and want results before we tell anyone.  the u/s is at 11-12 weeks and then the bloodwork the same day.  how long before they might call us with the results?

we want to tell people now, but we agreed to wait.  Nobody knows except DH and I and about a dozen health care people.  It is too hard to untell if we have to.  and we cannot expect our parents to keep a secret that big. we know they wont

    I did my b/w last Friday, u/s is this Friday. We were told we'd have results before we left the office after the u/s, but this is with them having the results of the blood already at the office.

    Mine was Monday and they told me that I will have results by the end of the week.

    Edit: The tech told us the u/s measurements looked good and we didn't even see the doctor, so I am taking that as a good sign.  :)

    No worries. I'm hanging out here and MM pretty regularly, so you can find me either place. I was 10w6d when I had the blood drawn - guess it was last Thursday, not Friday. The place doing the u/s asked when I was having the blood drawn and then scheduled my appt around that. I think you're right that it would be a few days if you're having both done at the same time.

    I had my NT scan today and got my results today.  However, I had the bloodwork about a week and a half ago, so they just had to look at the scan today to be able to give me my results right there on the spot.

    I had my ultrasound and blood work yesterday. They told me the u/s looked good and we are waiting on the bloodwork which they said they should have back by the end of the week.

    DD is 3, but if I recall, we got the measurement results when we met with the Dr. at the end of the appointment.  It took 3-4 days for the blood results to come back.

    I had my NT and bloodwork done on 3/11.

    After the scan, the tech said the fetal medicine doctor took a look at the measurements and they looked normal.

    I did not get the "official" results until yesterday. My doc called to tell me everything (measurements & bloodwork) were as normal as normal can be. 

    BIG sigh of relief!

    I was told 10 days.

    We're doing a combination of testing that includes the NT scan and blood work at 11 weeks and 16 weeks.  We'll get the results shortly after the second set of blood work.  That said, the sonographer showed me the measurement of the tissue and it was .98, which I've read is well within the normal measurements of <2.5

    We just had our NT scan this morning. The tech gave us the measurements and said everything was perfect. She's sending them to my doctor but said not to expect a call since everything looked great.

    We aren't doing blood work, but in the past my blood test results have taken 2-3 days.
