At what point do you call if you still have not gotten AF after the loss?

Tomorrow will be day 44 and still no AF. I dont know if I O'ed yet or not since I dont chart yet ,i have had EWCM several times in the last 44 days and had some today... so when do I need to call the doctor to see if I need medication to jump start my cycle. Thank You ladies.

and It seems like everyone had a crappy day and I am sorry about that!!!

Thanks ladies. I am not too concerned yet... I just dont know when to worry about it because we never really discussed it at my F/u APPT's.

I think its 60 days...I think! It has been an overall crappy day huh? I hope AF returns soon!!

After my first loss I am pretty sure it was right around 45 days for me.

60 days is the general rule of thumb. I called at about 45 days and they told me to wait until 60. I went in after 60 (but had been charting), and doctor gave me an Rx for Provera but I was pretty sure I had O'd and wanted to wait and see if AF came on her own. My doctor also said that it could take 3 months so she wasn't concerned that I was still waiting. CD79 and she was finally here.

My dr said to call after about 6 weeks from my D&C. Have you been TTC this month? If so, maybe take a pregnancy test tomorrow morning and call doctor if it's negative.

I will be patient and wait until day 60 and call then if AF still has not paid a visit... Thanks ladies... For some reason I am just having a hard time being patient.

60 days is pretty standard. However, it doesn't hurt to call and see if they can recommend something to expedite the process. GL.

My doc said 6 weeks, so I'd probably give the doc a call just to check in.

Ugh...waiting for AF stinks. My dr said to cal him if she didn't show up 4-5 weeks after my m/c.

Its been three months since my m/c and I still haven't had a normal period. My dr. said not to be alarmed if it takes 8-12 weeks after a d&c but everyone is different. GL and if your concerned I would call the dr.

I called just so I wouldn't worry for the next few weeks... she said to wait 2-3 more weeks and then call if AF is still not here.

I'm so sorry your body is not cooperating. I lost my twins at 13 weeks, and had a D&C. It took 8 weeks post op for AF to show. You might want to call and check in with the Dr. Since yours was a later loss, maybe your prolactin is elevated and causing the delay.
