TMI alert! (there, happy? lol)
I figure you may be one to ask b/c you said you've done the in-office hysteroscopes...
When they did mine the surface of my ute lining was all "shreddy" - like waves of fiberous white (?) 'ish stuff hanging down, flowin' in the wind. Doc tried to snip most of it off (it was all over) and dismissed it as being anything to worry about.
I did just stop the BCP, but are on lupron. So AF is looming, so to speak. Was that just me shedding my lining? or what?
Re: KYRN~~~~~ regarding my ute appearance
Haha, not such thing as TMI for me!
The shreddy look is standard, that's pretty much what they all look like, the normal one's anyway. I was recently assisting with some hysteroscopy/d&c's for hyperplasia and got to "feel" during the d&c what normal/abnormal felt like.
The abnormal (pre-scraping) was really smooth when pulling the instrument on the inside of the ute, after it felt all rough. The Dr was explaining that the "rough" feel is what we want.
It's not necessarily the lining being shed, because there is always some of the white hangy stuff in there, but if there was a lot that is probably why.
