    Wow?!  What month boards are these?  My month board doesn't talk about the baby names... I like this board because I can express my opinion.  Month boards are very puppies and rainbows.

    Yeah I noticed that the other day when someone posted that the Sept 11 board was posting about names... someone on there made a thread specifically saying how glad she was that they weren't being big bad meanies like the BN board!

    Lolol. Well, first I was just excited to hear there was such a thing as a baby name board! I love discussing names. :) I heard the board required some thick skin, though ;) so I came over out of curiosity too, And *then* I couldn't help but jump in after lurking for a bit!

    Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
    11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
    3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266

    I shudder at the sight of some of the names on my month and tri board. Thankfully one of the most ridic ones has moved on to the next tri so I don't have to see it anymore.

    I've seen people post their baby names here for advice and then go to another board whining "Since the people at Baby Names were so harsh, what do you all think about this name?"....and then those people will say the same thing. I have a particular post in mind that I saw...will update when I find it.

    I see that a lot too.  And then people blow smoke up their a$$ so they feel all good and gooey about the name again, and "validate" how mean we are over here.  Oh, well, can't win them all! :)

    Nothing to add...but just wanted to say how precious your daughter is; I just want to nomnom on those cheeks! ;). Apollo has NO love fat so I'm feeling deprived. Want to trade for a bit? He's very quiet...I promise! :)

    This is funny, because I actually started out on the Baby Showers board, because I was planning one at the time.

    I eventually became a regular over there, because (besides the fact that I'm pretty crafty), I felt like I was truly helping people survive in the etiquette universe.

    But it was pretty slow over there (only a few new threads per day), so I started lurking. When I found this board, I fit right in! This has been my home board ever since. Stick out tongue

    Yeah on Tuesday half the girls due Sept 11 posted their baby names on there instead of here because you bitties are so mean (kidding).  It was awful.  And boring.

    The only other board I've lurked on over here is TTC. I didn't realize BN had that reputation! Pretty funny. :P
