went to my office today
And LO was fussy the whole time, but nobody cared. It was a lot of stimulation for him - I don't think he's been around that many people ever in his life.
I was also so impressed - while I've been on leave, they have created a lactation room for me and the other new moms on staff (2 have started back to work already and 1 more is due in a few months). It's nice to work someplace that looks out for working moms. Only moms get keys to the room, and there is a mini-fridge and storage space for breast pumps. So nice!

And my LO was very overstimulated too when I took her in on my maternity leave. 60 women all gushing over a baby-- she promptly stuck out her bottom lip and cried...
if you can, ask for the following additions to the Mother's room: a sink, a telephone, a table, a TV, a mirror.
