Your comment about most women being pregnant and miserable had me thinking. Maybe I am an exception. I don't know. I can only speak from my experience. So I set up a poll for the 9-12 month peeps to find out. It looks like it's close to 50-50. Half are miserable and half are not.

Just thought I'd share. I found it interesting and thought you may too!

I just started lurking tonight so I havent seen the post but I personally love being pregnant. Yea there are a lot of things that stink about it, but I just love it! Even with my last pregnancy on bed rest. Plus, I especially love what you receive afterward

The poll may be more accurate if asked to people who are currently pregnant. Memory is self-serving and we hardly ever remember exactly how miserable, or not miserable, something is 9-12 months after the fact.

The subject states do you find this annoying post below. I found it annoying so I posted below. It did not specify that I had to explain why I found it annoying.

But since you added all those question marks and the hmmmm I will humor you, I found it annoying because a survey of people 9-12 months later isn't really conclusive of misery as in retrospect it might not seem so bad, misery is subjective and everyone's point of reference and experience is different and I am easily annoyed in general.

I have no problems with what I got at the end. But road is not an easy one for many women and to act like it is hunky dory for everyone is a big reason why some women have trouble asking for help or think they are doing something wrong because they don't enjoy it.

Thank you for this. It took me a long time to be ready to TTC again because of my experience at the end of my pregnancy and my difficult birth- and I actually technically got the birth I wanted.

It is ok to not like being pregnant. I am a terrific mother and totally want another baby, but am not looking forward to the 9 (plus) months before said baby arrives.
