So today for the first time J fought me to put him in the car seat like Warner does....so frustrating, legs out pushing on the back seat etc (he is RF) though he may have to be turned soon also because his head is really close to only an inch from the top of the seat and i am NOT looking forward to turning him around, but I have to say if its fights like this every time we get in the car, part of me will be happy.

 I had not evern thought about the height limit, I was planning on keeping him RF until he reaches the weight limit of 35lbs but doesn't look like that is going to happen, he is 34 inches and 26 lbs:(

    oh no! has he been checking out our posts??!! lol :-)

    that is so frustrating, isn't it? what type of seat do you have? Warner is in a Britax Marathon and his head is nowhere near the top...he's around 36" now.

    the evenflo symphany....I bought it because I knew my kid was going to be big and it is rated for some of the heaviest...I did not take into consideration at all that DH is almost 6ft 5in so DS is tall too..I don't think its worth it to buy a new seat for a 6 month period.

     

    Not only is DS 34 inches, which is tall for his age, but he has a tall torso like me..I'm pretty average height 5ft6in but my height is NOT in my legs so I think he may have inherrited that from me....bummer...haha

    I'm going to talk to the ped about it at his 15 month well check next week

    and seriously these boys need to read up on the nest!!:-)
