RE is out of town... call back Monday

So I finally got up the nerve to call my RE about AF because she was supposed to show up 5 days ago (4 days after my first 12 days of Megace), and so far nothing. So I call and ask to speak with the advice nurse- and she said my RE is out of town until Monday, so if AF doesn't show up before then, call on Monday.

Seriously?! I know she doesn't know everything, but shouldn't she know basics timeframes, or shouldn't she be able to ask someone or something?! I am starting to stress- they are talking hysterectomy if this doesn't work itself out in the next 3 months so it isn't like I have a ton of time to spare :(

Re: RE is out of town... call back Monday

  • I hate dealing with the RE's office...I despite dealing with the nurses when they don't know what they're talking about...the whole nine (I could go on for a while).  I hope you get the answers your deserve on Monday, but more than that, I hope AF finally comes so you can get the show on the road.  (((Hugs))) for having to deal with this stress on top of everything else...

  • Thanks... I know I shouldn't have waited this long to call- especially if I am going to stress about it- but he's been out of town all week so I would have just had to wait longer for a call- see, justification :)

Thanks for the kind words- I'm just hating this... IF sucks.

  • Thanks ladies :)  I tried calling back and she's the only nurse there right now since the office is basically closed due to RE's vacation :(  I just wish she could have given me some advice or something... I don't want to wait until the next round of meds to find out I have to come in for a biopsy or switch up the meds or whatever they decide to do... I hate this. (Pity party day, lol!)
