The last 2 years for my Birthday we've gone to a Seattle Seahawks game, and I had the best time. My Birthday is the day after New years, so no one wants to do anything anyway, and I don't see the point in waiting a week to celebrate. We'll probably keep the tradition going. Although not sure about this year, since they may not even be a NFL season.
But if I had a Birthday in the spring, summer or fall, I'd love to go on a wine tasting tour over in Eastern WA. That would be a ton of fun too. I might even celebrate my 30th birthday in June (30 and half) so I can do a bus wine tour with my girlfriends.
My 30th is in May and I told DH my ideal day would be: sleep in, DH takes the morning shift; cuddle and play with my little man and then go get a haircut and pedicure; get a Trophy cupcake and spend the rest of the day with my two favorite guys.
Last year my birthday was the day after DHs graduation from a leadership course for non commissioned officers, so a wonderful friend of mine watched the baby for a couple hours so we could go have a couples massage.

We don't do big birthday celebrations, so mine is pretty lame. I usually work on my birthday, and go out to dinner with TJ, my folks and my sister (and her boyfriend). Sometimes we go out to dinner on my actual birthday, sometimes we go out the weekend before/after.
A perfect day would be TJ getting up with Mads and letting me sleep in, getting some sort of pampering (massage, cut/color, nails, etc.), and going out to dinner with my family. My birthday is on a Tuesday this year though, so off to work I will go.

I love getting treated; pedicure, facial, massage, haircut-whatever sounds relaxing and that I haven't done in along time (usually all). Dinner out with dh or girlfriends, maybe a quick overnight closeby (la conner is a favorite of ours).

Mine is in January and the day before DS's birthday, so it's been pretty limited in the last couple of years. lol
Ideally - sleep in, go have starbucks and/or breakfast with family, then perhaps a little "me" shopping during the kids' afternoon nap. Simple dinner and if it was a weekend - perhaps drinks out; a weekday - a movie of my choice and go to bed. Nothing too exciting.

More mimosa, less toddler.
Throw in some spa time and this!
