Suppression Check - Good News

I had my suppression check this morning & blood work for Estrogen level.  I'm at 40 so I have the green light to start with Follistim & Menopur on Monday.  Then will go in on the 31st for ultrasound & blood work.  I'm excited as I have on Folli that was big & RN said that if estrogen was high then we'd have to push everything back a week.  I'm glad we don't have to do that.  Also, it appears that I will only be on Follistim for about 4 days & Menopur then for 8 - 10.  My husband's boss is great for allowing him to work from home for those days that I have the Follistim in the AM as I can't give myself shots.  I tried to not cover my face last night when he gave me the lupron & just stare straight ahead, but due to my peripheral vision I still saw him about to poke me so I tensed up.  So it will be back to covering my head while lying on the bed, but it is all worth it in the end if this cycle works.

    Congrats on getting started!  I know I look like an idiot, but I wear one of those sleep masks when my DH gives me the shots so that I can't even see it coming.  I have a wierd thing where I don't want to see it but then open my eyes under stress, eep!

    Me = LPD + cancer survivor, DH = low count and morphology
    IUIs #1-5, January 2011 - June 2011 = BFN
    IVF #1 in July/August 2011 = BFP!!!!!
