Back from 8 week ultrasound

It went great! It looks much more like a baby now and the little heartbeat was pounding away. Baby was measuring 8w, 2d so I am extremely relieved since last time it was measuring 2 days behind. In the photo, the head is on the left and you get a full front view of the body to the right. So relieved!

I remember my 8 week u/s with my son. I swear he looked just like a little gummy bear. Congratulations on a great visit.

Funny story. When DH and I pulled up to the Hermitage Hotel after our wedding, another bride and groom were arriving at the same time. We kind of all smiled at each other and then the girl goes "Nash37212? I'm MackenzieToBe!" And then our brand new DH's gave us some serious side-eye. It was hysterical.
Amazing! We're about the same too. I don't get another peek until the end of April so it's fanatastic to see what they look like at that age! Congrats!
