DH and I are having a hard time coordinating dinner on nights I work until 5pm (2 times a week, sometimes more). I'm going to be in the area of a TJ's today and was thinking of picking up some frozen entree stuff. What are your favorites?

Re: What are your favorite TJ meals
I pretty much shop only at TJ's
They have some chicken patties near the meats: come 2 in a pack and we live on those on the Foreman with some edamame, and rice
Soba noodles and add shirp
roasted red pepper soup with feta and polenta cakes
pizza (although the dough has to rise for 20 mintues, so it's not as quick)
frozen chicken tenders that are maranated. Cook for about 4 minutes
Less guilt mac n chesse with some left over chicken and some salsa
brocolli slaw with their goddess dressing, feta and craisins
salad with chicken skewers
Kimchi rice
They have some reduced fat battered shrimp that's good. And sometimes we just get a bunch of their frozen appetizers for a fun meal.
I'm actually working on a "Trader Joe's 5 ingredients or Less" section in my recipe exchange
....Some of our current favorite easy combos are:
*Orange chicken + jasmine rice + broccoli + side of edamame (salted)
*Red Curry sauce (jar) + diced chicken + fresh peas over jasmine rice
*Cold pasta salad: orzo pasta + feta crumbles + sun dried tomatoes (incl juice) + artichoke antipasto (jar)
*Salomon Fettuccini: lemon papardelle + pint heavy cream + bag parmesan + flaked salmon + parsley (can sub tuna fish to save $$)
*Meatloaf: Cornbread Stuffing Mix + meat + broccoli/carrot slaw (recipe)
*Pizza dough + sauce + tomatoes + mozzerella + basil OR + BBQ sauce + + mozzerella + chicken + red onion
We don't live convienently to TJ's, but I go every once in a while. I love their frozen eggplant cutlets - add a side of pasta w/red sauce and a veggie or salad and you're done!
Nice...I'm going to try this
