41 week appt.... frustrating

Just got back from my 41 week appt. Started off by having an NST. LO looks and sounds great. And I was having contractions about every 4 minutes or so although they aren't really painful yet... just a looot of tightening like BH! So as I am sitting there the nurse is telling me that since there were so many in 30 minutes and they were so strong I might be sent over to L&D today. So of course I am sitting there getting my hopes up thinking FINALLY. I am scheduled for an induction tomorrow at midnight and really don't want to get to that point! But after the NST, I saw my doctor and she did an internal. Come to find out NO CHANGE since last wednesday. Still a lousy 2 cm dilated. So she sent me home and said see you tomorrow at midnight! UGH! I still have 36 hours so I am hoping that something happens fast! I am just so uncomfortable and sooo ready to meet my little man!

    That does sound really frustrating.  I went to L&D yesterday and found out I was contracting, but it was probably because I was dehydrated because they gave me fluid and it stopped.  I hope something happens for you tonight.

    Good luck! I went on some long walks to try to encourage LO to move down this week. It at least helped me feel like I was doing something and got me out of the house. I hope your LO decides to cooperate soon!

    I haven't had a doctors appointment in over a week and as of then I was not dilated at all...  I hate not knowing but I'm sure having your hopes lifted is sooo much worse.  *hug!  I hope today your body kicks into gear
