Olivia has been sick since Sunday. I stayed home on Monday, SIL graciously volunteered to stay home with her yesterday, and I'm back home with her today.
She seems to be feeling better -- her fever finally broke -- but she's still super clingy and sleepy, so I decided to keep her home one more day.
I'm pretty bored, she's watching a Barney DVD, and I'm thinking of making chocolate chip cookies... the dilemma is this: H is out of state for work & won't be home until Saturday... if I make a batch of cookies I will most certainly eat them all before he comes home (I depend on him to keep my sweet tooth in check, lol).
I'm still up in the air about it... but warm chocolate chip cookies sound SO good right now...
Re: Home with a sick toddler...
Aww, poor baby. My 2 yr old DD has also been sick since Sunday with high fevers, it's the worst feeling when they're sick
Did she have a stomach flu by any chance? I'm guessing that's what DD had (dr. couldn't confirm).
I say go for the cookies, it'll make everyone feel better
