prayers needed please!

I had my bi-weekly progesterone level test yesterday. The Dr. just called and told me my progesterone has dipped from 18 to 13. He has doubled my supplement and will retest in 2 weeks, but i am a nervous wreck now. We have worked so hard to get this baby I don't know what we would do if we lost it. So, any extra good thoughts or prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies.

Have they mentioned PIO shots? I don't know if they are any better than the vaginal suppositories or not, but maybe you could ask?

My dr hasn't talked about the PIO shots yet, so I hope the extra dose of Prometrium does the trick. OMG, I don't think I could give myself those shots! But, I will do whatever it takes!

My progresterone was low at my first blood draw. I'm thinking it was even lower than 13. Because of my recent m/c before that my MW put me on Prometrium until 12 weeks. I had to take it 4 times a day and felt pretty crappy while taking it. BUT...here I am at almost 34 weeks with a healthy baby girl inside me! So do know that low progesterone is OK and it doesn't mean anything is wrong with your pregnancy. Fight through the weeks of the Prometrium and your levels should go back up. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

My friend just got a call stating her progesterone is low too and they will be giving her a suppliment for the first tri. Apparently it's pretty common. Sending good healthy vibes your way! Try not to stress!

First off progesterone levels fluctuate throughout the day so it is hard to say if it anything to worry about at all, secondly any levels above 10 is good. Now for some good news, my progesterone levels never went above 10 or hit 10 throughout my last pregnancy. It doesn't mean anything, low progesterone levels are not an indicator of miscarriage more as a result of one but on its own means nothing especially this early on in the pregnancy. Try not to worry and keep us posted!
