Places to find mothers helper/sitter?

Where is the babysitters club when you need it? I'm in the east bay (walnut creek) looking for a little help! Thanks for any recs.

Maybe try Saint Mary's. College students are always looking for jobs like that. I would also recommend my il's. They wouldn't even notice an extra kid added to the mix.

Another ditto for Saint Mary's.

Also G's pre-school teacher's daughter babysits. Teacher and her daughters are great with kids. I can get her info for you if you'd want it.

Our current sitter is from SMC...LOVE her. We have also been recommended by numerous families to the daugther of Ty's (and G's) preschool teacher. I am just too embarassed at the sorry state of my house to use her right now. Once I get it all cleaned up...I am calling her!
