Tips....hmm...I would suggest on your two or three load days to not eat so much at one meal to where you feel sick....you don't want to stretch your stomach out because when you begin the actual diet, you will feel hungrier sooner. So I would just eat throughout the day.
I ate pasta, brownies, steak, potatoes, nachos, EVERYTHING. Every meal was like my last supper. LOL.
The first 3-4 days of the diet are the hardest...if you can get through those days, you should be just fine. Make sure you drink loads of water. That will help fill you up and it will also help keep you from retaining water as well.
I would also make sure to have at least a couple days worth of meals planned out. I went to the store and stocked up on celery, lettuce, cucumbers, onions, chicken, apples and melba toast. At the store, they have refrigerated grilled chicken (sliced up), that is made to add to a salad.
My typical day:
Breakfast: Coffee in the morning with Stevia and one tablespoon milk.
Snack: Apple
Lunch: One of the following (medium sized cucumber, four sticks celery, bowl of lettuce), 100g of grilled chicken, one piece of melba toast.
Snack: Apple
Dinner: 100g chicken, melba toast, lettuce. (Make a chicken salad).
Drink: I drink water with the juice of one lemon squeezed in it throughout the day. I also have a cup of decaf coffee at night.
The first couple days I was kind of shaky, but my body is seeming to get used to the low calories now.
I cut the chicken, fruit, and veggies up in small pieces and eat slowly...makes you feel full a lot sooner.
When you go out to eat...I opt for Mexican...because I can order the grilled chicken fajitas w/ onions (no rice, beans, or tortillas).
Minimal/Light exercise....
That's all I can think of for now.....Oh! Here is a forum that I lurk on for other tips and questions...
I need to find more recipes online so I can mix up my meals as I'm already getting pretty sick of chicken and apples...If I find more recipes, I'll share them with you as well.
There is also some spice mix recipes I have laying around here somewhere that you can add to your chicken....when I find it I will post them for you.
Let me know how you like it! We should check up on each other every couple days to see how we're doing!
Good luck!
ETA: I remembered more stuff....so I added things.
This was the diet description and info. I got straight from my Dr.
Breakfast: Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. Xylitol or Stevia may be used. (Green tea)
Lunch:
1. 100g (3.5oz raw) of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed from the bird.
2. One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad (lettuce), tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.
3. One breadstick (grissino) or one Melba toast. Or 1/2 rice cracker.
4. An apple or a handful or strawberries or one-half grapefruit.
Dinner: Same four choices as lunch.
-The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc. may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter, or dressing.
-Tea, coffee, plain water, or mineral water are the only drinks allowed, but they may be taken in any quantity and at all times.
-In fact, the patient should drink about 2 liters of these fluids per day. Many patients are afraid to drink so much because they fear that this may make them retain more water. This is a wrong notion as the body is more inclined to store water when the intake falls below its normal requirements.
-The fruit or the breadstick may be eaten between meals instead of with lunch or dinner, but not more than four items listed for lunch and dinner may be eaten at one meal.

I am totally intrigued by this... Just not sure I would have the willpower...
if you don't mind me asking.. where did you order the HCG stuff from?
I got the injection form prescribed by a Dr. But there are places online where you can order either the injection form or under-the-tongue-drops. The forum I listed has some suggestions there on where to buy it. I'll also take a peek and see what I find.
