After years and years of being related, I just found out that one set of my father's cousins all have their mother's first name as their middle name. So, four sisters share the same middle name- Margarita. The individual first names flow with Margarita and none of them go by a compound name, but still, it strikes me as a bit odd.

My sister and I have the same middle name and now my daughter has my middle name also.
Our next child will have MH middle name also as their middle name.
It's a family name and it's a middle name. It's not like they are George Forman and every kid in the family is some form of George as a first name.
I know a lady who named her kids Chriss and Bliss (identical twins). Then she had another baby and gave the new baby "Bliss" as the MN. Weird.
But to each their own.
