I saw this, but I don't get it...I've never had to pay there in the first place. Have I just been lucky and no one asked me for money??? Warner loves the kids play area there, it's one of our favorite rainy day haunts.

Admission is free, but they request a $5 donation. Membership gives you tickets to the LEGO exhibit, which definitely costs the $5. See https://www.nbm.org/support-us/membership/individual-membership.html
