Re: yoga poses?

  • We've done one in yoga that the instructor said is good for labor and birth to get things in the right position.  Maybe it would help?

Get on your hands and knees, and then bring your righ foot up to even with your right hand.  So your left knee is on the ground, your right foot is on the ground, and both hands.  Then start making big clockwise circles with your hips.  The result will be like you're opening up your pelvis and almost like you're stirring the baby down like you stir a cake. (if that makes sense!).  Repeat with the other side, but go counter-clockwise.  You'll always be 'opening up'.

Happy to describe in further detail if that made no sense at all!

    Best of luck!!!

  • Cat pose feels so good on the back!

She won't let anyone do downward dog after baby has started to engage because it might come un-engaged.

And getting up should only be done when nobody else is watching unless you want YouTube video of a walrus trying to stand straight up.  I'm sure you're much more graceful than I am at this stage though!!
