Help me decide on a party theme!

I'm trying to decide on a theme for Charlotte's party.  For awhile now I've been going back and forth between two things that really fit her--Cowgirl and Dora. 

I think the cowgirl theme is different and I have some cute ideas in mind.  I first had this idea awhile back b/c she is OB.SESSED. with her cowgirl boots.  She has a shoe problem in general, but she especially loves her boots.  She is also what we call a "girly tomboy" so I think it fits her.  I like the menu better for this party and I have some stuff around the house I could use for this party, so that is a bonus.

The other theme is Dora.  I know some people think character parties are lame, but she loves Dora and I think I can make it cute.  If we did this theme, it would be kind of a "rainforest" theme with some Dora thrown in.

Which idea do you like better?

    Cowgirl for sure. Nothing against Dora but it's probably done a lot.. Think the cowgirl would be different for the kiddos coming.. Maybe you could have a cake with a Dora Cowgirl for her? : )

    I think the cowgirl theme could be really fun and extremely cute. I am not a fan of character parties, but they can definitely be done cute. I like PP's idea of a cowgirl dora cake, that will tie in her 2 favorites!

    Love the Dora cowgirl! We have a Dora Halloween book with Dora dressed as a cowgirl and that is how Ryan decided she wanted to be a cowgirl for Halloween. I'm sure a creative cake maker could do it for you. Just found this in a quick search so I'm sure there is more.     Well, since I'm a lame-o who throws character parties for my child (because she loves them!), I think the cowgirl with a touch of Dora would be very cute.

    cowgirl for sure...we went to one last November and Alex had a blast. She had losts of fun games like cornhole, panning for gold, foam sticker cowboys, and pin the tail on the horse.
