I haven't decided if I want to do a repeat planned c/s or try for the VBAC, but I wanted the VBAC option on the table. I was happy to find that my (new) doctor does them, as do all the others in the same practice in case I go into labor when she's not available, and she said I was likely a good candidate. She went over some of the risks with me and DH, but not in a scary way. She did a good job of walking the line between informing us and trying to influence us one way or another.
Again, I still haven't decided (mainly b/c my first c/s and recovery were so easy it was like drive-thru childbirth, lol) but it's nice to know that the VBAC option is available.

I'll likely be checking in with the board every now and then as I continue to weigh my options.

Re: Pleasantly surprised at my 1st prenatal appointment yesterday
I didn't know you were expecting again, congrats!
That's great news that your doctor is on board with either choice. It's nice to have options so you can truly decide what is best for you.
