  • Mostly not interested when DS1 watches it, but sometimes I let him watch baby signing time.

It does make it easier when I am making dinner or prep her food.

BTW I love the picture of your dd, she is so cute. I love the butt sticking out.

  • My DD does when I put her in the tv room for a bit when getting dressed etc. but she just likes the colors flashing across the screen, not really paying attention otherwise.

  • He likes the songs on every show, but that's about it. Except for Mickey mouse. He loves Mickey
  • DS catches a little news each morning because I turn it on to see the weather/traffic, but we aim for very little screen time before age 2.

luckily, dd is pretty good with playing independently most of the time but for some reason in the mornings she just isnt having it.

and thanks! yankee said that there's a hispanic owt that says the butt thing means they are asking for a bro/sister. now whenever i see her sleeping like that i think of the owt...and how it's not happening (anytime in the near future at least) :)

  • In general, he pays no attention to the TV but he stops everything if Mickey Mouse Clubhouse comes on. He's mesmerized by all the songs, especially the Hotdog song. He must know that we are Disney people.

  • Little DD might look at the screen when big DD is watching her shows, but usually cares more about her toys.  We never have the TV on kids shows when big DD is not home.

  • Recently it's started catching her attention every so often while DD1 is watching cartoons in the morning, but DD2 doesn't sit and watch it yet.

  • Jackson LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!!  He pays no attention to the TV until the Mouse comes on and he will stop in his tracks.   In fact, it's the theme of his first birthday party this Saturday.

  • I leave it on the sprout network sometimes & my DS could care less unless Chica comes on (i think that's how its spelled, lol).  If Chica comes on squeaking he stops EVERYTHING to look, otherwise he could care less.  It's too cute Big Smile
  • I'm waiting for the anti-tv people to come into this post with guns blazing. :)

I'm embarassed to admit that my husband and I watch a LOT of tv. I don't like E watching tv, but it's just on a lot. She doesn't seem to pay attention to it. When I notice her just sitting there staring at the screen I turn it off and play with her or turn music on instead. I think the less TV she watches now, the better.
