My nephew?I'm a very proud Aunt! PIP

My nephew, Philip Austin, was born on Saturday and I'm thrilled! He is named after my dad (Philip.) It was so endearing to see my dad's reaction when they told him and how he explained it to Lillian?he was so proud, beaming from ear to ear. And I melted. Although they have decided he will go by Austin. It was a long labor for my sister-in-law, 30+ hours (most med free) but both baby and mom are doing great. My brother is also well, he is so proud.

I'm already an Aunt to a niece and nephew but they are in California so we never really see them. I'm super excited to have a nephew closer (they are in Indy) that I can see more often and spoil with love!

They asked me to come to the hospital and take some pics, I've been using them as test subjects to try to improve my photography skills Here are some of my favs so far:

I just realized I don't have any pictures of him and I! Guess I'm going to have to go back soon for a visit?oh darn!!

Love the hair! He's adorable! I'm so jealous of you having a nephew. I can't wait to have nieces and nephews that are close! But, I don't hink that will happen anytime soon.
