We have a heartbeat!!
I am still nervous, of course, but we have a heartbeat!! I am thrilled. Last night before bed I had some actual bleeding and really freaked out. Dr A assured me that it is normal because the placenta is implanting in the uterus, but it still doesn't make it easy to see.
I couldn't see ANYTHING on the ultrasound. I saw the black blob that is I guess the sac, but other than that he could have told me there were 10 in there and I would have believed him. I was concerned and started crying immediately when he switched the screen on because I didn't see anything but he was taking the mouse and pointing at stuff that I still don't know what he was talking about. He said things look good, and he will see me in 2 weeks. So... I guess for now, I am happy with that! 
Thank you all for the continued support while I freak the EFF out!
6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM
7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle!
9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.

YAY! What wonderful news!
Hooray! I'm so glad you got some good news. Try to focus on the positive, even though I know it's hard when you're scared.
I had heavy (red) bleeding for the first 11 weeks, so I know how good it feels to see that little flicker on the screen. You're in my prayers!

So happy for you! And I realize its easier said than done but relax, I bled through the first trimester with DS2 and DD; with DD we had ultrasounds every 2 weeks until about 12 weeks because of bleeding but here she is 9 weeks old and keeping me busy
yay for heartbeats! On our first US I couldn't see anything either. They had to draw a circle and arrow for me and labeled it "fetal pole" but H said he saw a flicker which the tech said was a heartbeat.
Try to relax! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!

I kept checking in yesterday just to see if you had posted anything. I am so very happy that there is a heartbeat. YAY! I couldn't see what he was talking about on my 6 week u/s either.

You poor sweet girl. I can't imagine how this stuff would be freaking you out, I'm so happy that your doctor was able to get you in today.
